With over 12 years of experience with the piano, I’ve been a musician for most of my life. My primary focus in my music is to glorify God and bring His joy to others. As Colossians 3:16 (KJV) reminds us: “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.” This is why I am careful in the music I chose to play. If anything in song does not teach us or bring us closer to the Lord, then I want no part in that music. I want every note, word, and pattern to point to Christ, not myself.
